White Production Design recently had the pleasure of supporting the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Winter Ball at the Birmingham Town Hall. The glitzy fundraiser for around 400 guests featured performances from electric string stars Escala, child west-end star Nat Sweeney and party-band Apollo Soul.
White Production Design supplied a complete technical production package including audio, lighting, video, set and staging. Notable inclusions from White PD’s equipment hire stock included a full D&B Audiotechnik Y-Series line array driven by D80 and DS10 drive units. The event also made use of a number of Shure ULX-D radio-mic systems with variants including the KSM-8 hand-held transmitter and belt-packs with both DPA4060 lapels and 4066 headsets for performers.
Lighting for the event, under the watchful eye of Dan Young, featured a number of White PD’s 75cm mirror balls, Robe Robin Viva’s and a networked Chamsys control system. Event design and production was overseen by Kurt Bowen of White Space Creative Solutions. www.wscreativesolutions.co.uk
